The Baker's Dozen #12: The Baker Family Circus

A bas mitzvah is a joyous event. So a quintuple bas mitzvah should be five times as happy, right? Then why are the Bakers so miserable?
For one thing, the quints are divided over what kind of party to have. For another, Ashi is in trouble at yeshivah, and no one knows why. But the biggest reason is Tikva. She may be losing the most precious thing of all.
Throughout their time of trouble, the Bakers laugh together, cry together, and pray together. And in the end, with Hashem’s help, they emerge triumphant—together!
