First book in a collection on the story of Chabad in America, culled from the folders of Rabbi Dr. Nissan Mindel (1912–1999).
Nissan Mindel served the Rebbe Rayatz and the Rebbe as personal secretary as well as chief of their secretariat—in addition to his prolific English writings and translations of Chasidus for young and old, writings which they deemed key in opening up and spreading the wellsprings of Chasidus to the world.
He was a founding member of Kehos Publication Society, serving at its helm during his lifetime of devoted service to the Rebbes. His fascinating folders give us a glimpse into the story of Chabad in America.
