The Alexander Dynasty was one of the largestand most influential Chassidic courts in per-war Poland. The Rebbes of Alexander established a fliurishing Chassidus spanning the breadth and width of Polish Jewish life, based upon the teachings of Rebbe Simcha Bunim of Pshischa and Rebbe Yitzchak of Varki. Tens of thousands would flock to the Rebbes court throughout the year, as well as partake in the vast shteblach network throughout the country.
